We’re now nearing halfway into ECQ season 3 in Metro Manila, and everyone’s back to their usualy food delivery haunts and nostalgic about restaurant favorites, too. It’s also the perfect time to discover new eats you can bring home and enjoy. If in 2020 we witnessed the rise of the ubiquitous ube-cheese combination and the tireless sushi bake, this year, Wildflour CafĆ© + Bakery creates a new crave-worthy snack that fans of their cronuts will eat up by the box: meet the Cremadettes!
A new Wildflour creation, Cremadettes are golden half-moon puff pastries with a caramelized exterior that is a bit reminiscent of the sugar-encrusted otap we enjoy as pasalubong snack. It’s wonderfully flaky and buttery as a classic croissant when you bite into it, and the inside is oozing with a filling that comes in a variety of flavors. It’s the kind of snack that’s going to leave a mess on your plate (or on your hands): your fingers sticky-sweet from holding the sugary pastry, the filling spilling out when you take a big bite. It’s wonderfully messy.
Wildflour currenty offers the Cremadettes in a Box of 4 (P500), Box of 8 (P1,000), and Box of 12 (P1,500) via Wildflour to Go, so you can order these treats online for delivery very conveniently. They currently have cremadettes with Cream Cheese, Custard, Dulce, Nutella, Strawberrt, Pink Guava, and Matcha filling (you can order a box of assorted flavors). The Cremadettes are best eaten once they arrive on your doorstep as they are freshly made, and they can also be left out overnight. Chill the pastries if you cannot eat them within the day, then do a quick toast (plus let it sit for a few minutes) to enjoy it.

ā¬ Party Goes Harder – Jacob Sartorius
I had a piece straightaway when it was delivered, and another the morning after that I reheated in the toaster after leaving it in the chiller overnight. It was deliciously indulgent either way, and can get dangerously addicting that you might see yourself snacking on more of these sugary, golden crescent treats rather than sharing them.
