The Grand Kitchen is the dining room serving international and local cuisine. It is Grand Hyatt Manila's all-day dining venue which can seat up to 240 guests, featuring a wide array of show kitchens and interactive buffet stations serving freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner with a la carte options.

The Grand Kitchen boasts of their a la minute buffet which is a different kind of eat-all-you-can experience with a concept of eating fresh from the pan, grill or oven. With its show kitchen, you are certain that the dishes are prepared fresh for you and served to your table.

There are a total of seven sections – Cold, Wok & Steam, Fry, Soup & Noodles, Grill, Stove and Fruits & Dessert – separated mainly by the cooking method used in each dish. From fresh seafood and steamed dim sum to made to order pasta and fresh off the grill meats, there's a station for every food cravings you can possibly have.

Curious as to how The Grand Kitchen looks like and what is in store for you? Here's your guide to all the can't-miss items when you eat all you can at this restaurant:

Start Strong with These Appetizers:

If there's something we learned from dining at buffet restaurants, it's making sure you've covered each section to get your money's worth so strategize before anything else. Begin your feast with the cold section which has a selection of made to order salad, homemade antipasto, cold cuts, cheese, sashimi, prawn cocktail and tuna nicoise. The selection is light and refreshing which gives you more space for more food.

Must Not Miss Meats:

The Grill section is a heaven for meat lovers! Choose from Chicken Inasal, Chicken Peri-Peri, Flank Steak, Mackarel and Grilled Prawn that are grilled upon placing an order. Mix and match everything; you can even make your own Surf and Turf like what we did!

The other side of the grill section has Japanese skewers – Gyu Kushi (wagyu cubes), Tebasaki (chicken wings), Ikayaki (squid), Shiitake, Zucchini and Asparagus Bacon. And just a few steps away, you will see the hard-to-resist Roasted Pork Belly. Can you ever look away from that glorious skin?

Spread Highlight:

You can't leave The Grand Kitchen without getting an order of the Hainanese Chicken and Rice. A serving gives you a tender Hainanese Chicken, rice, soup that's made from the chicken broth and three dipping sauce – ginger, chili and soy.

Leave Room for These Desserts:

Sure, upon seeing the spread, you would want to gobble up everything you see but another can't-miss are the fruits and dessert section. Choose among the fresh fruit juice selection or actually choose from the fruits and have it freshly pressed right in front of you. It can't get any fresher than this, if you ask us!

For dessert, make sure you grab something from the display of chilled dessert. The Almond Florentine, Cheesecake, Buko Pandan and the made to order Warm Chocolate Fondant served with a side of vanilla ice cream are just a few of the must-tries. There's also a made to order crepe section and an ice cream section where you can choose from vanilla or chocolate and finish off with fresh fruits and drizzle with chocolate, mango, caramel or raspberry sauce.
