Put on those lederhosen and practice those polka moves as Draft Gastropub brings the much-anticipated German tradition to Manila with a series of Bavarian-themed festivities filled with Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, and eats, live musical performances and crazy games. The celebration kicks off on October 15, at Draft Gastropub in Greenbelt 2 and moves on to Alabang on October 22 before wrapping up with an oom-pah at The Fort Strip on October 29. Party starts at 7 p.m.
The European style pub promises everyone an authentic Oktoberfest experience, serving the authentic Oktoberfest beer straight from Munich which is the Paulaner's Oktoberfest Bier.
Servers will be dishing out classic German bites like bratwursts, sausages with choices on sides, frites, and meat pies to munch on. There are, of course, other dishes to try on the menu – steaks, salads, pastas, sandwiches and burgers – which also go well with a cold mug of beer.
Besides beers and eats, revelers may participate in good-natured tournaments of arm wrestling, beer pong and beer drinking. Participation is free of charge and prizes will be given away to winners. Of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without getting down to live music that will be provided by two bands playing at the venue.
