Gelato, coffee, and freshly made Italian favorites await diners at this new all-day dining restaurant hailing from Singapore.
Casa Italia had its grand launch of its first branch in the Philippines last December 10, and is now serving in their BGC branch their famous offerings of micro-roasted coffee 'OTTO,' handcrafted premium gelato, and freshly-made food.
The brand began as a gelateria (gelato shop) back in 2010, and since then has been churning out all-natural flavors of handcrafted gelato (no artificial flavours, colorants, or preservatives). They also create the gelato using recipes dating back to 1962 — how gelato was traditionally made. Gelato at Casa Italia Philippines is available in different sizes: Piccolo/1 Scoop (P130), Medio/2 Scoops (P195), Grande/3 Scoops (P260), and in takeaway bowl/trays in 1/2 Vaschetta (P550) and Vaschetta (P1,050). They also offer a special Durian gelato (P195/Medio).
They further expanded the food offerings to serve specialty coffee and Italian comfort food in a casual setting. For coffee, they sell the Micro-Roasted Coffee Otto, roasted in small batches — the signature blend of 100% Arabica beans is never older than 8 weeks from roasting (otto is 'eight' in Italian).
