"Come OUT, we're OPEN," their placemats greet customers when they seat themselves in this new restaurant in Kapitolyo. Anu'man Kitchen + Pub opened last month and takes pride in being an establishment that caters to the LGBT community, providing them a new and safe space to enjoy good comfort food and happy company.
Anu'man, which is Filipino for 'whatever' (anuman), takes after its name and welcomes into their restaurant diners from all walks of life and persuasion. Its interiors have been decked with design and color by artist Dee Jae Pa’este, popular for his urban art in BGC, and other establishments around the metro.
Comfort food is provided at Anu'man, with different beverage promotions for evenings. Dishes are hearty, a mix of Asian and International favorites, and labeled with quirky, funny names. Right now, on soft operations, Anu'man is open 5pm onwards for dinner and drinks. They currently offer dishes like Sisig ('Ang Pinaka Makisig na Sisig sa Balat ng Lupa'), Spaghetti with mozarella stuffed meatballs
('Giant Balls'), Hot na Hipon (Spicy Aligue Gambas), Red Wine Shortrib Stew, Chicken Inasal Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Hamburgers topped with bacon and served with potato chips, Pork Belly, Bagoong Fried Rice with Mango and Sisig bits, Salpicao with Mushrooms ('Becky Beef on Shrooms').
For drinks, they have beer with a promo of 5+1 beer plus pulutan; every Tuesdays (or 'Chosdays'), a buy one take one offer on Bacardi, while Wednesday nights are reserved for wine — 'Whine Down Wednesdays' lets you enjoy a glass of wine for P99, and next glass is free. To end your meal with a dessert, they offer an Oreo crusted Nutella cheesecake with white chocolate ganache.
