After 34 years, Tom Cruise's pilot role in the film Top Gun returns next year in the sequel Top Gun: Maverick!
The first trailer for the film was dropped last July, and it probably brought back a lot of memories to those who have seen the first film in the '80s. In a tweet, Tom Cruise shares the latest poster for the film, and teased an upcoming new trailer.

Tom Cruise returns as the fighter jet pilot Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell, who now trains a new generation of US Navy fighter pilots. The film's trailer has also confirmed the return of Maverick's rival, Iceman played by Val Kilmer.
The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski, and stars Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly alongside Kilmer and Tom Cruise. It is set for a 2020 release.
