Discover Art Installations and Murals with BGC Art Tour and Workshop

Arts BGC 2014 kicks off this month. Get your art on as artist Dee Jae Pa'este tours you around the City, and discover more creative activities in store for you at Bonifacio Global City.

Arts BGC 2014 kicks off this month, and this year's theme is Music in Art, Music is Art. Lot of fun activities are in store for the curious creative in you to make you experience Bonifacio Global City as a dynamic and interactive art piece. If you trek often at the City to indulge the foodie, shopaholic, or the partyphile in you, then this month is the best time to see BGC at a different point of view.

BAFI artist Dee Jae Pa'este recently toured the press all around BGC to showcase the many art installations and murals, and indulged us more about the pieces and the artists behind them.

You'd be surprised at how many of these street art and installations are hidden or unassuming; some are tucked away in quieter corners, while others are not visible at night without the daylight to catch your attention. Have you been to BGC's lush and green hideaway that is a 'living scuplture' called Kasalikasan? It's the perfect haven for city folk seeking meditation and prayer. If you often pass the roundabout route of Burgos Circle, chances are you've glimpsed at a dome-like steel structure surrounding tall trees — that's the very first scuplture to be showcased in Bonifacio Global City, completed in 1997!
