Salvatore Cuomo & Bar Brings You A Fresh Menu For That Delish Italian Feast

Take a bite of Italy with Salvatore & Cuomo Bar's new line of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, risotto, seafood and meat dishes created by none other than Chef Salvatore Cuomo.

If you'd like a taste of Italy fresh from the kitchen, a trip to Salvatore & Cuomo Bar might just be what you need for a well-tended meal.

On top of its tried-and-tested bestsellers, the restaurant recently launched a new line of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, risotto, seafood and meat dishes created by Chef Salvatore Cuomo, after whom the place is named. So if you’re with a group of friends or with the family looking out for great food, ambiance, and service, Salvatore Cuomo & Bar has you covered.

Warm up with the restaurants’ new appetizers like the Crostone that’s topped with sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, anchovies, arugula, and grana padano; or delight in the smoky goodness of the Carpaccio di Salmone Affumicato e Fennel, smoked salmon carpaccio with fennel.

Salvatore Cuomo’s pizzas offer top of the line flavors with its toppings. Among the best are the Montanara al Salmone (with smoked salmon, feta cheese, rucola, capers, and olives), Mortadella e Pistachio (a merry mix of mortadella, provola, and pistachio) and Pollo Affumicato e Nduja (a combination of spicy salami, provola, smoked chicken, and tomato sauce).

These are all made with quality ingredients sourced personally by Chef Salvatore, known all over the world as “The Pizza Man”.  The pizzas are baked in a custom-made oven from Naples that uses local beech wood and imported composite wood that lend a distinct taste and texture to the restaurant’s premium pizzas.

But what is an Italian feast without pasta? Try the Spaghetti e Cacio e Pepe, spaghetti with cheese and black pepper; Gnocchi di Patate Viola con Crema al Gorgonzola, purple gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce and the Spaghetti ai Ricci di Mare, spaghetti with sea urchin cream sauce for the more adventurous palate. If you prefer it creamy and cheesy, there’s the Tortellini con Crema di Tortellini in Truffle Cream Sauce.  Meanwhile, the Fettuccine al Nero di Seppia, squid ink fettuccine with white beans, squid rings and cherry tomato, will satisfy guests who are partial to seafood.

You can also try the Risotto al Parmigiano e Vino Rosso, blanketed with Parmesan cheese and red wine, a good choice to pair with your favorite seafood or meat dishes.

Moving on to the mains, Salvatore Cuomo & Bar has added two beef items to their menu:  Cotoletta di Vitello alla Milanese,  breaded veal chops  and Guanciale di Manzo Brasato al Vino Rosso, beef cheek in red wine sauce that comes served with mashed potato. New seafood choices, on the other hand, include Spiedone di Gamberi, Capesante e Calamari shrimp, scallops and squid skewers and Sogliola alla Mugnaia, sautéed flounder with mushroom and caper sauce.
