Wonderbowl Might Just be Manila’s Fanciest Ramen Place Yet

This newest concept from the Noodlerama group is a modern ramen restaurant serving premium bowls (think lobster and wagyu beef) along with cocktails!

There's a new ramen bar in town you would want to check out!

From the same group that brought you #YourFavoriteRamen, Ramen Nagi opens its first ramen bar: Wonderbowl by Nagi. Chef Ikuta Santoshi will be bringing you the true Izakaya experience as he showcases his passion for creating special ramen bowls and exquisite Japanese dishes.

If you think they will be serving your usual ramen bowls, think again. This newest concept from the Noodlerama group is a modern ramen restaurant serving premium bowls (think lobster and wagyu beef) along with specialty cocktails. It is definitely the best place to eat and drink the perfect pairing of a hot bowl of ramen and cold drinks!

Wonderbowl will be offering eight different bowls of ramen; and unlike Ramen Nagi which uses tonkotsu (pork) broth, Wonderbowl uses shio (salt) broth with three kinds of meat – beef, pork and chicken – so you can expect that each bowl is packed with flavor. As everything here is different from its older brother, you can't customize your ramen to how you like your broth or noodles but you can add toppings (P40-P120) like umami egg, wonder spicy sauce, shrimp butter or even extra slices of cha-shu!

Wonder Miso Ramen: flat noodles with a golden salt base broth with burned miso taste topped with Wagyu Beef, mushroom onions, Japanese leeks and Chinese chives

Wonder Salt Ramen: chef's signature soup with golden salt sauce, red onion, kale leaves, bamboo shoots, Japanese leeks, marinated Wagyu Beef topped with shredded chili

Being a premium ramen bar, their bowls are priced at P490 up to P1,500. The four signature bowls are the Golden Salt Ramen, King Lobster Ramen, Wildfire Miso Ramen and Premium Butao at P490 per bowl, while the three Wonder bowls which will have limited servings per day are the Wonder Salt Ramen (P810), Wonder Lobster Ramen (P1,500) and Wonder Miso Ramen (P590).

Aside from ramen, they actually have a full menu of appetizers, meat, seafood, rice/noodles, dessert and they even have a season menu. Chef Ikuta Santoshi also shares that just like Ramen Nagi, it's not impossible for Wonderbowl to have its own version of limited king depending on what he can come up with using local or global ingredients. For the meantime, here are some dishes you need to try when you visit Wonderbowl by Nagi:

Bone Miso Marrow (P450)
Foie Gras and Truffle Gyoza
Hokkaido Cheesecake (P330)

Wonderbowl by Nagi is located at The Globe Tower 32nd Street corner 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Like them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for exclusive updates.
