While we’re all hungry to travel right now, it’s just impossible. And what’s the next best thing to exploring the world? Eating. From lazy breakfasts to late-night snacking, Zula’s Kitchen Corner offers delectable bites that won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
Zula is a home for wanderers around the globe, so while we’re all staying safe in Manila, their goal is to bring traveling in the form of their food offerings. Their newest build-your-own Schnitzel (P250/sandwich; P350/plate) offering will bring out the inner chef in you.
First, you choose your bread. They currently have three kinds: brioche bun, challa and pita bread. Next, you choose your Schnitzel flavor: classic, sweet chili, garlic parsley, Mediterranean, Vegan or grilled chicken barbecue. What comes next are the vegetables and your choice of sauce. A personal favorite is the chili sauce which I hope they sell in a bottle soon!
Aside from the sandwich, they also have a plated Schnitzel where you can choose rice (plain or garlic) instead of bread. If you’re in a hurry, they have recommended sandwiches you can give a go. There’s the Mediterranean Sandwich, Classic Sandwich, and the Challa Sandwich. For meetings and small gatherings, they offer bundles (starts at P350) perfect to share.
