What started as a small curry shop in Yoyogi, Tokyo with a seating capacity of only eight to ten people, Camp Curry now has over 30 branches in Japan and Bangkok. And now, they've set up a new camping site located in Manila!
Serving only the freshest vegetables of the season and maintaining its healthy menu line up, the humble shop soon was recognized by locals and tourists. At the first Manila branch, the highlight is the open kitchen where you can see them freshly prepare your order.
Their ultimate best-sellers are the Beef and Chicken BBQ which is served on top of steamed rice and a huge serving of crisp vegetables. They also have three curry sauces you can choose from: their classic Brown Keema Curry which has ground chicken and onions, Green Vegeful Curry that's great for vegetarians and is inspired by Thai and Japanese flavors and the Red Bisque Curry which has a seafood and tomato base and is a Manila special.
Curious on what to order at the newest camp site? Here's your first look at the must-try dishes when Camp Curry opens April 19:
